Current Research

I am currently leading two significant research projects:
NSF RAPID (2024): Investigating Hurricane Helene's rainfall patterns, Brown Ocean signatures, and comparison of AI with physics-based forecast models.
DOE Research: Mapping human population sensitivity to varying flood frequencies.

Research Interests

My research integrates remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and machine learning to address challenges in Earth science and natural hazards. I am curious to analyze extreme rainfall events, hydrological assesments, satellite derived dataset and their impacts on communities and ecosystems.
