Hi, I am Alka Tiwari exploring hydrometeorology in extreme weather situations. My research focuses on understanding extreme rainfall events and improving streamflow predictions using innovative data-driven and AI-based approaches.

I love turning complex data into actionable insights for adaptation and water management.
Outside the lab, I am an endurance athlete - I would rather be in the game than sit and watch it (literally and figuratively). When feasible I spend time doing seva, exploring and discussing art, psychology, philosophy, history and interdisciplinary research.
